Need to file an extension for your 2024 tax return?
Extension Form 4868 allows you to apply for an Automatic Extension of Time if you cannot file before April 15. To complete the extension form:
- Fill out the bottom of page one:
- In Part I, fill in your information.
- In Part II, fill in your tax liability for tax year 2024 (you can take it off of last year’s tax return). Also list any withholding and/or Estimated Payments you have made and complete the calculations on the form.
- Mail the form along with your check for your remaining tax liability to the proper address listed on page 4.
- Or if you need help filling out Form 4868, come to any of our sites when they are open

We are continuing our Summer program to help with:
- letters from the IRS
- returns from 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024
- returns that need to be amended
- other federal income tax related issues.
Appointments for the Summer program will be
on Mondays starting May 12th
at Colony Cottage Recreation Center.
Please allow up to a two hour block of time for
a Summer program appointment.
